Welcome to KRSN 1490 AM, Los Alamos' Radio Station KRSN AM 1490 broadcasts from the Pajarito Plateau reaching Los Alamos, Espanola, Pojoaque , Santa Fe, and the areas in between. Over 250,000 people can hear us. We entertain and inform our listening public through locally produced and syndicated shows. We broadcast national and local news. Local issues are included through features and interviews. KRSN is dedicated to being involved in the communities we serve. We participate in community events as participants, sponsors, organizers, promoters or broadcasters. We are a proud Diamond level donor for the United Way of Northern New Mexico. We are a Platinum donor for the Los Alamos Summer Concert Series. We are also involved with school organizations, work study programs, field trips, and the Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce. We are the primary sponsor for the Empty Bowls Event held in March for the benefit of Self Help Inc. The 2012 event will be held on Saturday March 17, St Patrick's Day, at the Betty Ehart Senior Center. Our D.J.'s

In the 67 years since its birth KRSN AM 1490 has served the citizens of the Pajarito Plateau and the Northern Rio Grande Valley with a quality radio forum in the tradition of independently owned and operated. KRSN offers web casting and has a facebook page. KRSN is owned and operated by David and Gillian Sutton. We have been natives of Los Alamos the majority of our lives. We have three children, Christopher, David, and Michaelle. All have attended Los Alamos Public Schools and participated in local activities. We love living and working here.
